THE second largest fastfood hamburger chain in the world has entered into a master franchise agreement with Motibhai Group of Companies, awarding it exclusive rights to develop Burger King restaurants in Fiji.
Motibhai Group business development manager Sanjay Kumar said the Burger King master franchise was another feature in thier cap. After going through an extensive international screening process, he said, Motibhai Group was chosen by Burger King Asia Pacific to represent them in Fiji.
He said Burger King had been the fastest growing burger chain in the world, offering consistent fast service, fresh ingredients, top notch quality and best tasting products to its customers.
Motibhai Group chairman and CEO Kirit Patel said the arrival of an international brand such as Burger King meant there was exciting times ahead for the company and country.
"This will allow us to give value and do more than expected for our customers. Burger King will be a point of difference to consumers in terms of quality, value and service. We are constantly looking for better ways to delight our people and Burger King will provide value proposition to customers, which is in the line with our business strategies."
Mr Patel said the Bainimarama Government's investment policy and initiatives were a catalyst for the company in franchising with Burger King Asia Paicific. He said announcements on the opening of Burger King outlets would be made soon.
